aniwey (never capitalized) is the French creator of Candy Box and Candy Box 2.[1]

Though aniwey owns his own website[2], he does not use it for frequent purposes. He appears to currently only have Candy Box on his website.

aniwey can also be widely seen on social networking websites, particularly Twitter.[3] On his Twitter, he occasionally will make updates on Candy Box.
